The final event of the year celebrating the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation’s 50th anniversary, the Heritage Holiday Gala is also the foundation’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing together food and beverages prepared by local chefs and restaurants, a silent auction under the tent, seasonal music and plenty of sparkling Christmas lights. Showcasing a different street each year, this year’s gala, themed “Bows on Boulevard,” will be held in the historic Boulevard neighborhood, where guests are invited to admire and stroll through five beautifully restored homes: 156 and 169 Grady Ave. and 223, 296 and 396 Boulevard.
