Ten Volt Shock, YC-CY, Apparition, Under a Sky So Blue

Freiburg, Germany-based group Ten Volt Shock makes no-holds-barred punk music that will appeal to fans of bygone noise-rock bands like Arab on Radar, Mclusky and Big Black. The decade-old three-piece, which shares its singer and guitarist with cult German punk act Kurt, continues to operate at full speed, steadily releasing new material and touring Europe and the U.S. to give audiences a taste of its nervy, pummeling sound. Doomy Swiss rockers YC-CY have also traveled all the way to Athens for Thursday’s Flicker show, which also features local thrash standouts Apparition and post-hardcore band Under a Sky So Blue.
