Seed Life Skills Symposium

As part of its 2017 Global Georgia Initiative, the UGA Willson Center is teaming up with Hugh Acheson’s Seed Life Skills nonprofit for a star-studded symposium Wednesday afternoon. A free panel discussion at the UGA Chapel at 4 p.m. features Acheson, “Top Chef” judge Tom Colicchio, Eater Executive Editor Rashid Nuri, author and food-equity advocate Michael Nischan and several other foodie heavy-hitters. That same evening, there’s a Seed Life Skills benefit dinner at Five & Ten, where Acheson, Richard Neal and Matthew Palmerlee will present a four-course meal that also includes snacks and Creature Comforts beer. Tickets are $100 and available at fiveandten.com.
