Presenting one of the most well-known staples of operatic repertoire, the UGA Opera Theatre will perform Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” as its spring production. The legendary tale follows the title character (played by Isaiah Feken) as he pursues several women: aristocrat Donna Anna (Laura Anne Cotney), former lover Donna Elvira (Rebecca Sacks) and village beauty (Zerlina (Rachel Eve Holmes). After jilting hundreds of lovers, he’ll get what’s coming to him. Singing actors from the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, guest directed by Vince Liotta, will be joined by the UGA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Hilary Griffiths.
