In addition to housing many locally owned creative businesses, the Chase Park warehouses include studios for several artists. During the arts crawl, visitors have an opportunity to peek into the workspaces of jeweler Beth Cyr, painter Nancy Everett, illustrator and tattoo artist David Hale, painter Erin McIntosh and children’s book author Susan Nees. Holding Womanspace, co-owned by Baraka Elihu and Autumn Weaver, and Veronica’s Sweet Spot, a new incarnation of Veronica Darby’s Sweet Spot Studio Gallery, will also participate. The Athens Institute for Contemporary Art will host a holiday artist market with 25 vendors selling handmade works. The art crawl also includes food trucks and crafts for kids.
