Shehehe, Illegal Drugs, Grape Soda, Blunt Bangs

Shake off the specter of awkward family conversations around the Thanksgiving table by getting your shred on at the 40 Watt Club. Featuring members of Hawks, Turf War and other area heavy-hitters, no-nonsense Atlanta foursome Illegal Drugs blend Misfits-style gloom with sludge-tastic noise-rock and Ramones-esque muscle on their recently released, self-titled debut full-length. The band shares Saturday’s bill with a talented trio of local groups representing the breadth of current Classic City rock. Irrepressible power-punk outfit Shehehe headlines, while brother-brother keyboard-and-drums duo Grape Soda and indie-pop four-piece Blunt Bangs share the bill.
