Following an inaugural Piggle Wiggle One Mile Fun Run, the fourth annual festival’s Tailgate Tradeshow will open up to show off vendors’ wares, and a kids zone will offer face painting, miniature golf and a bouncy house. The main dish, of course, is that 40 professional teams will cook up pulled pork, chicken, pork ribs and beef brisket throughout the day in hopes of winning a $10,000 prize, with smaller-scale events including a backyard contest between 14 teams and a restaurant “Iron Chef” style competition. A handful of food vendors will also dish out their specialties, and Julie Holmes, Second Time Around and Cicada Rhythm will perform outdoors.
