Classic City Showcase

After being diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in September 2014 and undergoing intensive chemotherapy as well as a bone marrow transplant, UGA student Russell Vandiver made a full recovery and is currently in remission. In conjunction with the SAE fraternity, he’s putting on a benefit show for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society featuring some of Athens’ young rock and roll talent, including Mosaic, Big Morgan, Funkasaurus Wrex, Summer Sonics and the Space Time Travelers. Event organizers also promise a “surprise guest performance” to close out the night. This one’s easy: Do a good deed; hear good music.
