Demonstrating the local fashion scene’s collaborative spirit, My Athens presents its second runway show of the year. Local boutiques Agora Vintage, Atomic, Cheeky Peach, Community, Dynamite, Encore, Flirt and Red Dress Boutique were each paired with a local stylist to bring signature looks off of the big screen and down onto the runway. Iconic films like The Breakfast Club, Almost Famous, Empire Records and Valley of the Dolls serve as the source inspiration for each model’s attire. The runway show will be followed by a dance party led by DJ Immuzikation, and admission includes a craft cocktail from The National and Tito’s Vodka or Creature Comforts beer. A portion of proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
