Bethany Collins

Bringing in a new year of exhibitions, “As We Wish to Be” is a solo installation of both site-specific murals and previously created works by Atlanta-based artist Bethany Collins. As a multi-media conceptual artist, she explores ideas of race and identity through language-based works that highlight multiplicity and limitlessness within the seemingly binary. Holding an MFA from Georgia State University and a BA in studio art and visual journalism from the University of Alabama, she completed a year-long artist residency at the Studio Museum in Harlem last year. “As We Wish to Be” will remain on view through Sunday, Mar. 8.
