Noted wing purveyor American Deli is opening up another Athens location, this one on the Eastside, next to Choo Choo in the shopping center that also houses the Omni.
Atlanta Highway is getting a Hardee’s, near Target.
The space in Beechwood shopping center that was previously Tin Drum, near the UPS Store, has paper over its windows and a sign announcing it will house something called J. Buffalo, doing hibachi and teriyaki, is up. It’s hard to tell whether that’s a location of the J. Buffalo franchise, which offers wings, fried rice, lo mein, gyros, fish dinners and more, but it could be.
And the Epps Bridge area will house a location of Charlie Graingers, a franchise focusing on barbecue (especially brisket) and hot dogs, out of Wilmington, NC.
