After a few weeks without Viva Argentine’s tiny filled cupcakes, I’m sure some Athenians have been going crazy. Good news, though. The once-Eastside-based restaurant is opening its new location in the Bottleworks on Prince this coming Friday, so if you’re sick of turkey and want something different, head over.
There were rumblings that Hi-Lo in Normaltown, the new bar (with food!) in the former Rustica, would be open as early as tomorrow. Despite a health inspection passed with flying colors, Wednesday is unlikely, but Friday is still a possibility for a soft open, according to barman Ian McCord.
Update: Hi-Lo is open for drinks today, with food to come later.
