Ever since Hugh Acheson tweeted a drawing of a building two days ago with the mysterious text “This is gonna be fun…” then confirmed in his replies that it was a business project, involving food, the culinary media has been trying to figure out where it could be. It definitely didn’t look like Athens. And although the space resembled some in Atlanta, everything it looked like (e.g., Parish) was occupied and doing fine. It turns out the space is actually in Savannah, in what appears to be a high-end redevelopment known as One West Victory Drive of a complex that includes several turn-of-the-century (19–20th, that is) buildings but has been vacant for years. The Google Maps Street View screen cap above definitely seems to show a match, but this isn’t a done deal yet.
