Here Are the Twilight Criterium Winners

For the second year in a row, Athens resident Frank Travieso, racing for the locally based 706 Project team, finished third in the Twilight Criterium on Saturday night.

Daniel Holloway of Athlete Octane Cycling won the 80-kilometer race with a time of 45:29.2. Ty Magner of Hincapie Sportswear Development trailed by a tenth of a second; Travieso was 0.7 seconds behind Holloway.

In spite of a 38th-place finish at Twilight, The 706 Project’s David Cueli is in second place in the overall USA CRIT standings.

Tina Pic of Fearless Femme won the women’s pro race with a time of 56:31.3.

Hector Aguilar won the amateur finals with a time of 32:28.6.

Joe Eldridge won the fat tire competition with a time of 29 minutes flat.

Mike Giuliano and Sydney Marshall won the men’s and women’s mile runs, respectively.
