Art Notes

On Thursday, Mar. 8 at 6 p.m. at Ciné there is an opening reception for “Knumb Chucks,” a series of collaborative works by Andrew Cole and UGA Art X professor Chris Cogan. Cole’s poems were rendered into drawings by Cogan, then further re-processed into “imagetext” poems. This sounds like an interesting joint project…

Big congratulations go out to local painter and UGA professor/gallery director Jeffrey Whittle. He was chosen as one of the “New Superstars of Southern Art” by Oxford American magazine. Well done, my friend.
