Photo Gallery: Jam for Cam 2025

On Saturday, Mar. 29 the annual Jam for Cam fundraiser took over the downtown streets for the first time since its inception in 2018. Featuring performances from Milky Chance, Penelope Road, Congress the Band and The Gringos, the festival closed down the intersection of College Avenue with Clayton and Washington streets. The festival’s public relations shares that there was an estimated 15,000 people in attendance, and this year’s event raised about $500,000 for melanoma cancer research and prevention. Since 2018, Jam for Cam has raised more than $1 million dollars for this cause, in honor of UGA student Cameron Fearon who lost his life to melanoma.

Flagpole photographer Jake Zerkel was on the scene Saturday to catch the crowds enjoying a day of live music and community on the historically “college” end of downtown Athens.
