The rainy January weather cleared for a crisp but sunny afternoon downtown to hold the seventh annual Athens MLK Day Parade and Music Festival on Monday, Jan. 16. Youth organizations, church groups and businesses gathered to parade around the Hot Corner block. This was followed by the honoree ceremony, live music and vendors for attendees to peruse.
