Regarding the letter from Michael Vaughan in the December 15 issue where he says, “I believe that a poverty-ridden life is better than no life at all,” I disagree. I’d rather my mother had an abortion than brought me into this world of liars, cheaters, thieves and religious freaks. I work at the University, where the president’s yearly raise is always bigger than my whole salary.
