Vince Dooley Endorses Donald Trump

Yuuuge news in Dawgland: Legendary UGA football coach and longtime Athens resident Vince Dooley endorsed presidential hopeful Donald Trump at a rally in Atlanta, reports the AJC:

“You’re the one who’s going to make America great again,” Dooley, in a hoarse voice, said. “God bless America, God bless Donald. The people have spoken.”

Dooley’s not the only Dawg to come out in support of the Orange One. Record-setting Georgia running back Herschel Walker previously said he is supporting Trump and tweeted that the (actually verifiably racist) candidate was “not a racist.”

Former UGA quarterback and current AM-radio personality Buck Belue has also tweeted in support of the presumptive Republican nominee.

What’s next? Will Jacob Eason shock the world by donning a “Make America Great Again” hat at a media conference? Probably not. But perhaps!
