Surely, you thought, after last year’s cavalcade of exploding ligaments, Georgia could get through a season without a serious knee injury. Sadly, that is not the case.
Todd Gurley—just back from a bullshit four-game suspension—tore his ACL in the fourth quarter of the Bulldogs’ 34–7 win over Auburn on Saturday. The junior is out for the year and almost definitely bound for the NFL, although the injury may cause his stock to drop. Will Leitch was right.
