As voters head out to elect—or try to elect—a governor, senator and a host of other state and federal officials, Georgia’s polls are starting to look more and more like the Bulldogs’ special teams.
Long waits and other problems are being reported in metro Atlanta. And that’s just the people who know they’re registered and know where to vote.
To make matters worse, the Secretary of State’s website’s poll locator has been down sporadically and hotlines overwhelmed.
On top of that, 40,000 voter registration applications have not been processed.
The Lawyers’ Committee is urging voters who are experiencing problems to call 866-OUR-VOTE.
