State Sen. Jason Carter (D-Decatur) spent his Saturday campaigning for governor in Athens with 100,000 Georgia fans—and potential registered voters.
Carter met with volunteers at the Clarke County Democrats’ new headquarters on Baxter Street, then tailgated on campus, where he posed for a photo with a certain Heisman Trophy winner pictured above.
He also paid a visit to Avid Bookshop. Hey Jason, if you’re elected, maybe you can get GDOT to fix Prince Avenue, right?
