A misleadingly-headlined Athens Banner-Herald article today (warning: paywall) left some readers with the impression that Lee’s Wigs downtown is closing. It is not.
For anyone who’s used up his five clicks this month and doesn’t want to pay 10 bucks to read it, Lee’s Wigs is merely moving to 739 W. Broad St., where it will share space with Firehouse Package Store, next to where Vision Video used to be. Owner Jasmine Lee cited concerns about parking and a younger (presumably wig-less) clientele downtown.
