Athens-Clarke County has resumed trash and recycling pickup today in the wake of the Icepocalpyse.
Today, the Solid Waste Department will hit residential customers whose regular pickup days are Wednesday and Thursday. Friday customers’ trash will be picked up on Saturday.
Can’t wait? Too many milk cartons and bread bags lying around? The landfill is open today until 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m.–3 p.m. The recycling center is open until 6 p.m. today and 8 a.m.–noon on Saturday.
Leaf and limb crews are working on Zone 5.
