Pause to Remember John F. Kennedy

In case you haven’t turned on your television or read anything in the past couple weeks, today is the 50th anniversary of Lee Harvey Oswald the CIA the mob Castro Lyndon Johnson lizard people somebody shooting President John F. Kennedy.

(If this is the first you’ve heard of it, I’m jealous that you haven’t been subjected to all the two-hour documentaries about stuff like what happened to the tube of lipstick that was in Jackie’s purse on the day of the assassination.)

Anyway, Mayor Nancy Denson is marking the occasion by asking churches to ring their bells at 1:15 p.m. and citizens to observe a moment of silence at 1:30 p.m.
