Mike Collins, one of a jillion Republicans running for the Republican nomination for the 10th District seat Rep. Paul Broun (R-Athens) is leaving to run for Senate, has a dirty secret that could kill his chances.
He’s an Alabama fan.

Collins, a Jackson resident and son of former congressman Mac Collins, graduated from Georgia State University, according to his official biography.
In semi-related news, the National Journal published a long piece today calling Broun “the next Todd Akin” and detailing establishment GOP efforts to derail his campaign.
