Microbrewery to Open in Former Snow Tire Building

Atlanta Magazine reports that Creature Comforts, a 30-barrel brewhouse, will open in the 297 West Hancock Ave space recently vacated by Snow Tire.

The microbrewery is the brainchild of David Stein, the former brewmaster at Twain’s, a beloved brewery and gathering place in Decatur. A UGA grad, Stein says he will begin work on the space in February and hopes to have it up and running by July or August.

Among the new brewery’s offerings will be a tropical fruit-infused IPA, a German Pilsner and a Rye Amber, which sounds awesome give me one right now.

Stay tuned to Grub Notes for more details.
