UGA Presents Announces 2025-26 Season
UGA Presents, the UGA Performing Arts Center’s series of international professional touring artists, announces its 30th anniversary season. Over the course of more than 40 events, audiences will experience world-class music, dance, and theatre — and celebrate the PAC’s 30th anniversary with a Feb. 1, 2026 gala performance by superstar cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
Other season highlights include:
Dance and Theatre — The Paul Taylor Dance Company appears with a mixed repertory program at the Classic Center Theatre (Sept. 19). The Acting Company presents Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and an adaptation of Dickens’s Great Expectations (Jan. 30 and 31, UGA Fine Arts Theatre). The Salzburg Marionette Theatre returns with their delightful production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music at the PAC (Feb. 26 and 27, 2026).
Classical Music — The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra returns to the PAC three times this season, including a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 led by music director Nathalie Stutzmann (Nov. 14). Internet comedy sensations TwoSet Violin appear Oct. 19, followed by pianist and J.S. Bach specialist Angela Hewitt (Oct. 26). Hewitt last appeared in Hodgson Concert Hall during the Performing Arts Center’s opening gala celebration in April 1996.
Jazz — Singer and MacArthur “Genius Grant” winner Cécile McLorin Salvant makes her UGA Presents debut (April 17, 2026), and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra returns with trumpeter Wynton Marsalis for two concerts (Feb. 14 and 15, 2026). Brandford Marsalis also returns with his quartet (Nov. 16), this time with a program honoring the music of Keith Jarrett.
30 and 31, 2026, UGA Fine Arts Theatre). The Salzburg Marionette Theatre returns with their delightful production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music at the PAC (Feb. 26 and 27, 2026).
Nordic Dream — This miniseries of six concerts features classical, folk, and jazz musicians from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. The performers include the celebrated classical pianist Leif Ove Andsnes (Jan. 21, 2026) and the atmospheric jazz of the Tord Gustavsen Trio (March 27, 2026).
“This year’s program is filled with familiar faces, fresh energy, bold creativity, and the kind of moments that stay with us long after the applause has ended,” PAC Director Jeffrey Martin says. “From unforgettable music, theatre and dance performances to meaningful conversations and events that bring us all a little closer, there’s something here for everyone.”
