Michael Stipe stumped for Kamala Harris at a rally in Athens on Thursday, alongside her husband Doug Emhoff, Then he treated the audience to a four-song set backed by local musicians and producers David Barbe and Andy LeMaster.
Here’s the trio performing R.E.M.’s rarely played “Wendell Gee” off 1985’s Fables of the Reconstruction, two songs from Stipe’s upcoming solo record, then another Fables song, “Driver 8.”
