Michael Potter, Smokefrawg, Bl_ank and Saadia Rais kicked this past week off with audiovisual performances at Flicker Theatre and Bar on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Returning to Flicker on Thursday, Dec. 15, we saw Eugene Chadborn.
Over at Hendershot’s, the Good Grief Trio presented their annual “A Charlie Brown Christmas” special.
The trio was joined by horn players for several songs.
They were also joined on stage by the Peanut Choir!
Friday, Dec. 16 was a night of bouncing around. First up is Larry’s Homework and Stephan Eutsler & Candace at Athentic Brewing Company.
Over at Nowhere Bar, Heart of Pine performed.
We also caught Karl Blau, Night Palace and the Kiran Fernandes Ensemble at Flicker.
On Saturday, Dec. 17, Red Line hosted Winter Horrorland, a benefit for Mutual Aid Athens and Sol Underground. Of the dozen or so bands that played, we caught Vanity Cult, Beer Piss, Ladybird, EXZT 88 and Sanity Syndrome.
