Before we get into this past week, let’s flash back to Cracker‘s set at the 40 Watt on Saturday, Aug. 27.
On Wednesday, Aug. 31, Marion Montgomery played an outdoor patio set at International Grill and Bar.
Later that night, Los Cantares, Deaf Condors (new song!) and Beat Up performed at Flicker Theatre & Bar.
Dex Romweber of the legendary Flat Duo Jets returned to Athens for a two-night stand with Instant Smile at Flicker on Thursday, Sept. 1 and Friday, Sept. 2.
Don Chambers, Brown Dwarf and Infinite Favors played at the 40 Watt on Sept. 2.
LB and a dance troupe entertained the crowd over at Creature Comforts that night.
On Saturday, Sept. 3, Akademia Brewing Co. hosted 59 X Fest featuring Burns Like Fire, The Carolyn (Atlanta), Noise Mountain, Rosie & The Ratdogs, Way Past Cool and The Kilakee House (Atlanta).
On Sunday, Sept. 4, Ciné hosted Shehehe, Strawberry Reproduction, American Dream Survivors (Gainesville, FL) and Commüne.
