AthFest Educates has announced the full lineup for the 2022 AthFest Music & Arts Festival, which will be held downtown June 24–26.

2022 AthFest Music & Arts Festival Lineup Announced
Athens, GA — Local nonprofit AthFest Educates this week announced the lineup for this year’s AthFest Music & Arts Festival scheduled for June 24th to the 26th. The free, three-day outdoor festival on the streets of downtown Athens, GA showcases and celebrates Athens’ creative culture and includes live music as well as an artist market with 55+ artist booths, beer gardens, food trucks, vendors and KidsFest, with its own stage for performances by and for young people. This year’s festival also includes ticketed shows at the 40 Watt Club and Georgia Theatre after the outdoor stages wrap-up Friday and Saturday nights. All proceeds benefit AthFest Educates, which supports local music and arts education through annual grants.
The free outdoor stages — the Wicked Weed Stage on Pulaski St. at Washington St., and the Hull Street Stage, on Hull St. between Washington St. and Hancock Ave. – kick off on Friday June 24th at 5:00 pm on the Wicked Weed Stage with performances by A.D. Blanco, Heffner, GrandVille, Convict Julie and Hotel Fiction, and lighthearted, Convince the Kid, Elijah Johnston and Neighbor Lady on the Hull Street Stage.
On Saturday, June 25th, the music starts at 12:00 pm with performances on the Wicked Weed stage from Zac Crook, Check the Signs, Telemarket, Cannonandtheboxes, Shameless James, Blunt Bangs, Kxng Blanco, Vincas, Shehehe, Cassie Chantel and Vision Video. The Hull Street stage kicks off at 12:30pm and will feature Reed Winckler, Kadillak, Jock Gang, Mother Fore, Ashes to Omens, Cam & His Dam Jam Band, Trvy & The Enemy, Immaterial Possession, Well Kept and Lo Talker.
Sunday, June 26th, the outdoor stage performances start at 12:30 pm and on the Wicked Weed Stage include Bichos Vivos, Sarah Zúñiga, Ty Manning & the Slawdog Biscuits, Larry’s Homework, Ishues, Quiet Hounds, Rick Fowler Band, and Kevn Kinney Electric Band. The Hull Street Stage lineup starts at 1:00 pm and features Beta Cacao, Annie Leeth, Hunter Morris & Blue Blood, Duddy Ken, The Arcs, The Howdies, and Wonderland Rangers.
The lineup at the iconic 40 Watt Club includes Modern Skirts, Night Palace and Palace Doctor on Friday the 24th, and Maserati, Pylon Reenactment Society and The Woggles on Saturday the 25th. Doors open at 9pm with music starting at 10pm both nights.
AthFest at the Georgia Theatre will have performances on the indoor stage as well as on the rooftop. Performers include Monsoon, Linqua Franqa, and Wieuca inside Friday night, and Squalle, DJ Chief Rocka, Molly Tu Hott, Ant Da Ripper, BYV_Trubb, Motorhead 2X, ¢lark ¢ounty and Niño Brown on the rooftop. Saturday night the lineup includes Underground Springhouse, The Orange Constant and Pip the Pansy inside, and Fishbug, Everyday Dogs, Hunger Anthem, and Beat Up on the rooftop.
Tickets for each night’s Club Shows at each venue are on sale on AthFest.com. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door (if tickets remain). VIP tickets for each night’s shows at each venue are $80 and include exclusive viewing areas at the venue as well as admission to the outdoor festival’s VIP area for the whole festival and a voucher for an AthFest T-shirt from the AthFest merchandise tent.
The KidsFest Stage hosts the UpNext Showcase on Friday June 24th from 6pm-9pm featuring performances by middle and high school aged musicians Smith Larrison, Dry Season, and Surrender Cobra. Performances on Saturday and Sunday include Allegro Music, Mach2Tone, Full Moon School of Music, and Merry Sunshine, plus much more.
