This week got off to a buzzy, glitchy start with experimental electronic acts The Electric Nature, Ihlyatt and Goddess Complex at Flicker Theatre and Bar on Tuesday, Mar. 29.

On Thursday, Mar. 31 we returned to Flicker to catch Art Contest and Sweetearthflying.

Next door at the 40 Watt Club, new local bands Cantina Band, Ocho and Red Mile Road played out.

We capped the night at Nowhere Bar with Atlanta’s Fooshee’s Forecast, shown here covering The Grateful Dead’s classic “Fire on the Mountain.”

Time to get the weekend started! Aubrey Entertainment presented Magnolia Moon (Macon), Diablo Sandwich & The Dr. Peppers and the Sunny South Blues Band on Friday, Apr. 1 at Southern Brewing Co.

Sleuth Fest was an all-day affair held Saturday, Apr. 2 with an eclectic lineup of Clover County, Question the Answer, Mason McClintock, Xanny P, Hollowbody, Sarah Mootz, Wim Tapley & The Cannons and Ancient Infant. The event was organized by Sleuthsayer Records, a new local independent label.
