Flagpole Athens Music Awards Preview and Finalists

Hundreds of readers voted for their favorite local musicians in 20 categories, and on Thursday, June 20 at the Morton Theatre, we’ll reveal the winners of this year’s Flagpole Athens Music Awards, lovingly designed by local artist and musician Eli Saragoussi.

The 20th annual Flagpole Athens Music Awards show will feature musical performances from Yip Deceiver, Pinky Doodle Poodle, Kxng Blanco and Annie Leeth, and it’ll all be hosted by the returning dynamic duo of DJ Mahogany and Count Zapula. Per tradition, Kenosha Kid will provide a funky, fluid soundtrack for the evening. As always, there will be special guests galore!

Tickets are available at the Morton website and box office and Flagpole’s office at 220 Prince Ave. They’re $10 in advance and $12 at the door, or $7 for those with an AthFest wristband. (Finalists receive two free tickets. Email frontdesk@flagpole.com to claim them.)

Doors are at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 8 sharp. See y’all there!
