Flagpole Premieres: Dead Neighbors, ‘Tell’ Video

Flagpole favorites Dead Neighbors are still riding high on the strength of last year’s excellent self-titled cassette (which landed at No. 6 on our best-of-2015 list). Today we’re pleased to premiere the music video for “Tell,” one of the record’s standout tunes.

Check out the “hilariously cheesy” clip, directed by Zak Washburn, below:

Says Dead Neighbors frontman Sebastian Marquez:

The video stars Dead Neighbors as the greasers and Bianca Shamim as the alien. It was directed by Zak Washburn, who came up with the initial ‘Greasers get got by aliens’ concept and fleshed it out with me. We shot the whole thing over a few months in a few places in Athens. Filming was interrupted by the departure of our founding bassist, but Owen Hunt from Swamp (who is now a permanent fixture in the band) stepped in to help us finish.
