Tonight in Athens: Jib Kidder, Mild High Club


Lemme tell you about a couple primo opportunities to get your psych on tonight in Athens.

Over at the 40 Watt Club, New York City singer-songwriter (and former Georgia resident) Sean Schuster-Craig’s skewed, pop-centric Jib Kidder project will headline a terrific night of music that also features a deep bench of local talent: Cult of Riggonia, The Dream Scene, Realistic Pillow and more. And at the Caledonia Lounge, former Mac DeMarco guitarist and Ariel Pink collaborator Alex Brettin brings his trippy-dippy Mild High Club act to town in support of the group’s debut album, Timeline. Locals Shade and Velveteen Pink and Philly’s Laser Background share the bill. Check out the video for “Windowpane” below:
