Tonight in Athens: The Deslondes, Charlie Megira

In addition to Creature Comforts’ can-release party at the Georgia Theatre, there are a couple notable concerts happ’nin’ in town tonight:

At Normaltown Hall, New Orleans-based soul-country outfit The Deslondes plays a stripped-down set following its appearance at Saturday’s Wildwood Revival. Also on the bill: Atlanta singer-songwriter Sara Rachele and local folk duo Cicada Rhythm.

The volume will be pumped up significantly down the street at Go Bar, where Israeli garage-surf maniacs Charlie Megira and the Bet She’an Valley Hillbillies headline a show that also features glammy Ashevillians The Tills, local punks Nate and the Nightmares and oddball pop act Lavender Holyfield
