Win Tickets, T-Shirt, CD: Bear Hands Plays Melting Point Sunday


New York City indie rockers Bear Hands play Melting Point Sunday, May 4 with local upstarts Dana Swimmer, and we’ve got a bunch of stuff to give away to one of y’all lucky ducks. In addition to a pair of tickets to Sunday’s show, the winner will receive a Bear Hands T-shirt and a copy of the band’s new album, Distraction, on CD.

If you haven’t dug in by now, it might be high time to catch up with Bear Hands. The New York-based band has been around for a couple of years now, but its prodigious, synth-affected output has finally sparked national attention. The band’s latest album, Distraction, produced a strong single in the song “Giants;” the bouncy yet aggressive track seems ubiquitous on the net.
