Derrick Grayson represents everything the tea party is all about: sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll.
Well, the latter one, at least. Grayson—a longshot Republican U.S. Senate candidate nicknamed The Minister of Truth—moonlights in a Jimi Hendrix Experience cover band called The AXIS Experience (presumably after the Hendrix album, not fascists or terrorists).
That’s Grayson on bass and vocals. He actually sounds uncannily like Hendrix. Too bad his guitar player thinks he’s in a Stevie Ray Vaughan cover band.
