The Rock*A*Teens Return to the Stage

Big news out of Atlanta, as The Rock*A*Teens, the beloved Cabbagetown garage-rock outfit whose last show was 11 years ago at the Caledonia Lounge, announced last night on its Facebook page that it will return for a pair of shows at The Earl on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.

The band also says it will release its landmark 2000 collection, Sweet Bird of Youth, on vinyl June 3. According to Creative Loafing, the lineup for the reunion will be the same as The Rock*A*Teens most recent incarnation: Chris Lopez on guitar and vocals, Justin Hughes on guitar, Will Joiner on bass and Ballard Lesemann—former Flagpole music editor and current contributor—on drums.
