From Michael Guthrie’s Facebook page:

it is with the heaviest heart that i have to tell you that today our dear loved one, herb guthrie, was killed in a head on crash en route to kampala, uganda. friend, drummer, author, husband, father, grandfather, and the greatest brother the world has known. he never left my side. he left the world trying to make his life count. we will never be the same. RIP HERB.

More details to come.
