Athens Slingshot @ Downtown Athens: Kai Riedl and Eric Marty’s new internationally-focused art festival features bands playing in no less than seven downtown clubs. Don’t miss Japanese pop act The Suzan at the 40 Watt.

Jacco Gardner, Les Racquet @ Green Room: Gardner is a talented Dutch songwriter with an affinity for ’60s psych-pop. Come early for Brooklyn indie-pop trio Les Racquet.
