So, here’s a thing that’s kind of too much. Pitchfork notes that James Franco has been signed on for a couple of years now to direct two R.E.M. videos as part of the Collapse Into Now Film Project. This totally L.A. clip for the Patti Smith collab “Blue”—which stars famed Troubled Starlet Lindsay Lohan—is one of them.
