Jeff Mangum Announces 2013 Tourdates, Will Play Occupy Telethon This Week

Singer-songwriter/sometime Athens resident/reclusive wizard Jeff Mangum has announced a veritable buttload of tourdates for 2013, a tour that will see the Neutral Milk Hotelier supported at various points by Tall Firs, Briars of North America and The Music Tapes.

Sadly, no Athens date has been announced, though you can certainly read our review of Mangum’s 40 Watt show this past February if that’ll help you get your rocks off.

But seriously, don’t fret, Georgians: Mangum will play Augusta’s Sky City on Monday, Jan. 28. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, Nov. 15, at 12 p.m.

View the full tour schedule here. Mangum will also perform this Thursday as part of the telethon for The People’s Bailout, an Occupy-led movement that aims to buy and eliminate debt and, frankly, sounds pretty damn awesome.
