Hear a New Album from Cottonmouth

Below, stream the new album from Cottonmouth, the alter ego of Jacob Deel, (Muuy Biien, Pretty Bird). Titled .period, it’s a brief but invigorating slice of noise, drone and avant-hip-hop, recorded on an eight-track and damn near perfect because of it. Fuzzed to hell and deliberately ugly, .period nonetheless remains bewitching, its cold, industrial skeleton the foil to a nearly imperceptible living, breathing, psyched-out flesh.
