Shortly after they played the Georgia Theatre this past weekend, The Whigs headed up to NYC to play “Waiting,” the first single from their new album Enjoy the Company, on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
The band sounds great and all, but the coolest part of the video occurs right away, when Dave introduces The Whigs and says, “Boy, [there’s] a lot of talent coming out of Athens, Georgia, huh?” Why yes, Dave, there is. Thanks for noticing.
