Welcome to Today’s Office Jam!, a new feature where we share a tune the Flagpole office is currently diggin’ on. Today’s jam comes courtesy City Editor Blake Aued.
This collaboration among Spoon’s Britt Daniel, Wolf Parade’s Dan Boeckner and The New Bomb Turks’ Sam Brown is a throwback to the bouncy, sharp-edged songs off Spoon’s Girls Can Tell or Kill the Moonlight. It’s got a good typing beat.
Note: Music Editor Gabe Vodicka did not love the Divine Fits record very much. Just goes to show that we at Flagpole are a democratic bunch. Hooray, diversity of opinion!
