R.I.P. Bill Doss

We’re shocked and saddened by the news that Bill Doss, founding member of the Elephant 6 collective and the Olivia Tremor Control, has passed away at the age of 43. Doss was apparently found yesterday, having collapsed in his living room. Tests are pending.

A statement on the OTC website reads simply: “We are devastated by the loss of our brother Bill Doss. We are at a loss for words.â€

It’s a tragic loss for Doss’ friends and family, and for our music community, which Doss has had no small part in building. More details will be announced as they become available.
