Not as sweltering as some years past, perhaps, but still pretty dang warm, especially when you’re standing in the sun watching all those hot bands. (See what I did there?) So remember to take the necessary precautions.
Also, watch out for your pets! As esteemed local animal advocate Jingle Davis notes, “If the pavement’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for dog paws.” This is true.
Basically: Keep cool! Stay hydrated! Have fun!
