Happy Halloween! Honeypuppy is here with a special treat: a new music video for “DIRTY TV.”
Filmed at Athens motel Perimeter Inn, the video depicts songwriter Josie Callahan mesmerized as the television fades between channels airing her and her bandmates—Adam Wayton (bass, vocals), Will Wise (guitar) and Jack Colclough (percussion)—from multiple alternate realities as they perform the song. As Callahan remains entranced, everyone around her indulges in the luxuries of a good old-fashioned motel party—in-room whirlpool tub and all.
Following the singles “Understatement” and “Cozy,” this titular track is the third song Honeypuppy has released from its upcoming album of the same name. Leaning into the episodic nature of DIRTY TV, the band plans to release one song each month through March via Wayton’s boutique label Indecent Artistry.
Honeypuppy will play in Athens at Ciné on Nov. 7 with Kairos Creature Club and Johnny Falloon. Kicking off in Atlanta at 529 the night before on Nov. 6, Honeypuppy’s upcoming tour also includes stops at The Walrus in Jacksonville on Nov. 8, Stu’s House in Charleston on Nov. 9, Pilot Light in Knoxville on Nov. 13, The 5 Spot in Nashville on Nov. 14 and JJ’s Bohemia in Chattanooga on Nov. 15.
To follow along with future releases and revisit Nymphet, the band’s debut EP released this past January, head to Bandcamp or Spotify. For other announcements, keep an eye on Instagram.
